Grade 3 (SCP 16 – 21), £17,419 - £20,139 pro rata (Pay award pending)
Actual salary (£15,593 - £18,027) based on 5 years or less service
Full-time (36.66 hours per week), term time only plus 3 weeks
We are looking for an enthusiastic, and energetic Design and Technology Technician, to provide technical support to the staff and pupils within the DT Department. This is an exciting role supporting a vibrant and busy Technology Department in an outstanding school.
You will support with the preparation of resources and equipment, assist in the classroom during lessons and maintain equipment and health and safety. You should be able to work independently, as part of a team, and show initiative and enthusiasm for design technology and enjoy working with students.
A working knowledge of a range of D&T techniques (e.g. Graphics, Resistant Materials, Construction) with a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area and a knowledge of, or willingness to learn about CAD/CAM is essential.
