Timber Operative
Days - Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
Pay Rate - GBP7.05 - GBP7.50 per hour
* Operating wood cutting machinery and automated saws.
* Use of nail guns and hand power tools.
* Working from production drawings and diagrams.
* Maintaining a tidy and safe environment.
* Working with speed and accuracy to meet production targets.
As an ideal candidate you will be able to show the following:
* Openness to develop and learn new skills within the manufacturing sector.
* A keen eye for detail and focused on delivering a quality product.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience using power tools.
* Be physically fit and able to carry heavy objects.
* Experience working within a timber assembly process would be desirable.
Full training will be provided on all machinery and nail guns and health and safety requirements.
