DISABLED WOMAN LOOKING FOR A COMPANION / CARER
I am looking for personal assistants/care workers to support me, a disabled woman, to continue living in the community. Applicants need to be responsible, adaptive, well organised and have good intuition to fulfil this diverse and unique role.
The ideal applicant will have the ability to help with personal and health care tasks, domestic management e.g. cooking and cleaning, finishing my PhD (help with typing and formatting), assisting with the care and training of my dog (miniature poodle) who already medically alerts. I also need accompanying on day trips, around Bath and to London etc.
Support arrangements cover a 24hr period, 7 days a week as part of a team of carers. Roles available are overnight sleepovers and some day cover. Full time or part time roles are available.
This position is only open to women (this complies with S7 (2B) of the SDA 1975). Hourly rates start at £9.00 weekdays/£10.00 weekends and sleepover rates £40.00 weekdays/£45.00 weekends.
