We are seeking to appoint an innovative Employability Facilitator to join our Engineering team.  This is a full-time role, term-time role working 37 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year.

This is an exciting opportunity, where the successful applicant will be required to lead core activities that develop academic, personal and employability skills and support students in developing a sense of self-responsibility and ownership of their learning experience. 

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a range of duties, including the following:

- Teaching employability sessions e.g. planning and delivering activities to develop and monitor employability skills.

- Facilitating I.T. sessions.

- Arranging trips and visits to employer premises, guest speakers, working with students to organise and attend marketing events.

- Sourcing and organising work experience placements for all students within the Engineering area.

The successful candidate should hold a Level 3 qualification (ideally in Engineering) coupled with GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
