We are looking for a Transport Clerk to join our team in Nuneaton. We are looking to interview and appoint the right candidate for this position as soon as possible.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Transport Clerk, you will be in constant liaison with drivers, agencies and hauliers. You will need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
An eye for detail is essential because of the legal responsibilities and constraints placed on the department, as well as the implications associated with making a mistake i.e. failure to deliver to a customer.
The operational nature of the department will require the Transport Clerk to be able to work well under pressure by prioritising, multi-tasking and escalating to Senior Managers where appropriate.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
To become one of our Transport Clerks, you will need:
- Experience of working in a busy office environment undertaking general administration tasks
- Experience of using the Microsoft office suite of products, including Word and Excel
- An understanding of providing high quality administrative processes and procedures
- Knowledge and an understanding of the requirement for confidentiality
As a Transport Clerk, you will be required to work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated to ensure that results are achieved whilst ensuring that the quality of your work and attention to detail is achieved at all times.
