The Royal Air Force Benevolant Fund Airplay Youth Support programme is a vital part of our work. As a Sessional Youth Worker you’ll be working in our Airplay project at RAF Scampton.

How you’ll make a difference:

By providing innovative and exciting youth and play work to young people aged 8 to 18

By working alongside our RAF colleagues to support children and young people from the RAF community

By Supporting young people through various stages of their lives.

By being part of a much loved project across the entire RAF.

What you’ll need:

  • A level 2 (or above) qualification in Youth Work, or a willingness to complete the course within 1 year of appointment.
  • Experience of delivering a programme of activities with young people both individually and in groups.
  • Planning, preparing and facilitating activities with young people.
  • Understand the values and principles underpinning youth work.
  • An understanding of the issues that relate to working with young people from military communities.

This position is for 9 hours a week working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
