Job Description LOCATION: Boston, Lincolnshire

JOB TITLE: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

SALARY & BENEFITS: Expected annual earning is greater than GBP35,466
Overtime paid time and a half & double time on Saturday after 12pm and Sundays.
Bonus for 1 in 3 weekend working.

WORKING HOURS: 8 Hour Shift Pattern Working Hours:

Night Shift - Sunday Night to Friday Morning / 10.00pm - 6.00am
Early Shift - Monday Morning to Friday Afternoon / 6.00am - 2.00pm (6.00am-12.30pm on Fridays)
Late Shift - Monday Afternoon to Friday Afternoon / 2.00pm - 10.00pm (12.30pm - 5.00pm Fridays)

Engineers will be expected to work 1 in 3 weekends

THE COMPANY: Our client provides premium-quality wood products for construction, industrial and distribution customers They have an exciting opportunity available for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Boston on a full time permenant basis.

THE ROLE: Your role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be to undertake engineering maintenance to maximise the effectiveness of all machinery lines and site services.

Key Responsibilities/duties of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to include:-

Engineering tasks of Electrical / Mechanical nature
Ensuring adherence of Health & Safety regulations
Maintain and improve plant and equipment efficiency
Integration of TPM and PPM principles
Attending breakdowns to resolve problems in safe and professional manner
Line accountability and ownership of improvement activities
Assisting improvement in overall efficiency and equipment design
Maintenance of accurate machine related documentation
General Maintenance and other duties as directed by Site Engineer

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate must be a dedicated and flexible team player with a can-do approach. You will have the ability to communicate articulately with internal staff. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Boston.

Key experience essential for the role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer-

Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Have ability to diagnose fault and failure on automated lines and be capable of working under pressure in high speed manufacturing environment
Understand hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
Knowledge and application of welding and fabrication skills.
Electrical or Mechanical installation qualification is desirable
