Student Engagement Officer – 37 hours per week

Salary: £23,834 - £25,417 per annum plus excellent benefits

Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our customer and student focussed Higher Education Department to lead our work in developing, supporting and engaging with the HE and Access to HE student community over the next 12 months.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, who has excellent verbal, written and IT-based communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and facilitate others to have a voice, problem solve and take action. Team leadership skills will also be important as the post-holder will manage a team of student representatives and ambassadors.

Applicants should hold a university level qualification and have previous experience of working in an HE environment and/or with HE students, although teaching qualifications and experience are not required. As responsibilities of this outreach role include travel to remote sites not accessible by public transport, a full driving licence will be required.
