This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent open ended basis.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will have the responsibility of helping us to achieve our aims, ambitions and objectives as well as supporting the day to day operational needs of our highly successful residential services.

We provide accommodation for University of Exeter students in self-catered and catered accommodation both on and off campus and also offer accommodation during the spring and summer months to conference delegates and bed and breakfast guests.

The Residence Operations management team are responsible for managing the five Residence Receptions in addition to making sure that our residential buildings are well maintained and meet the required high set for cleaning, health and safety, functionality and the general look and feel of the interior and external areas.

You will also be responsible for meeting students and managing the operational aspects of their living environment.  To be successful you must be able to build excellent relationships with students living in our accommodation.

As well as having excellent interpersonal skills, you will want to work in an environment that is varied and diverse, be capable of prioritising a busy workload and offer well thought out ideas and suggestions on new ways of working and adapt well to changing priorities.

You understand the need to be flexible – your core working hours will be between the hours of 8am-7pm during term-time with shifts being adjusted to suit the business needs during the vacation and as required.  This includes working some weekends and to be on call out of hours on a rotational basis.
