Head of Catering
HEAD OF CATERING
Salary: £28,000 - £29,620 per annum
Full time: 40 hours per week
Responsible for the smooth running of theatre bar and catering functions, delivering excellent food, drink and customer service to audiences and visitors to the New Vic.
We require an experienced Head of Catering to lead our bars and catering team, someone with a great passion for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in successfully managing delivery of high quality food and beverage services to the public, a track record of developing the catering offer and achieving performance targets. They will have thorough knowledge of relevant health and safety and food hygiene legislation, be a personal licence holder and demonstrate an interest in theatre.
Managing a team of permanent and casual staff, you will be a manager that leads by example with excellent communication and organisational skills and a strong ethos of customer care.
Usual working hours are scheduled over five days, with some evening and weekend working required to meet the needs of delivering the role.
