Maintenance Electrician
Whatley Quarry, Somerset
Hanson is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of construction materials and part of the HeidelbergCement Group.
We are seeking a maintenance electrician for our flagship quarry at Whatley, near Frome, Somerset, to be responsible for the site’s electrical maintenance and repairs.
A minimum City & Guilds, ONC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification is required, as is knowledge of three phase systems and industrial installation.
Knowledge of inverters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be part of a small team working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, on a rotating three shift pattern.
