Accounts Assistant / Office Admin Assistant
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant / Office Admin Assistant to be based at our state-of-the-art 650 hectare thoroughbred stud farm. The vacancy, which will be for 12 months, will cover maternity leave. Based in the Stud Office the successful candidate will be a key member of the small and friendly office team, assisting with all aspects of the accounts function and office admin including reception as well liaising with staff at all levels, both within the office, and those working outside on the Stud.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role includes sales and purchase ledger work, including coding and posting of supplier invoices, client billing, all bank and cash reconciliations and the processing employee expenses and credit cards analysis. Wider aspects of the role include sourcing and buying various supplies, assisting senior management with travel arrangements and dealing with other office duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience of all aspects of the accounting function combined with a relaxed and flexible approach to work as well as a “can do” attitude is required to undertake all tasks. Experience of MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook is essential, while experience of Quickbooks or similar accounting packages would be advantageous. Experience working with online with banking applications as well as experience managing mobile phone, telecoms and other internet based accounts would be useful.
