SEN TA / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant - Southend-on-Sea
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in an outstanding Primary school in Southend-on-Sea. Interviews will be held as soon as possible with a view to beginning after Christmas.
The school is seeking to appoint a strong, charismatic and experienced SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to assist a lovely class group and offer 1:1 guidance and support to an ASD student.

Do you hold a Level 2 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent?
*
Are you confident in teaching literacy and numeracy to SEN pupils?
*
Do you work well independently and thrive as part of a team?
The role will include:
*
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
*
1-1 work with SEN students who require additional and focused support
*
Leading and inspiring within group work
*
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations and feedback
*
Possibility of providing cover/support across Key Stage 1 /KS1 Curriculum
