The Salvation Army in Torquay is a community of Christ that reflects God’s love, follows Jesus faithfully and offers welcome to all through loving service. We are looking for a Community Manager to oversee the day to day running and development of the community mission, and to support the delivery of the mission objectives for the corps and the Salvation Army.
Overall running and development of the community centre to manage and develop community mission; manage the staff team; network with other agencies; manage finances and other resources; and ensure safe mission, hygiene and security.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in meeting the needs of the local community and managing people, a flexible and approachable person and a practicing Christian.
(There is an Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian)
