IT Enterprise Architect (Platforms and Technology)

Liverpool – L24 8RF

Salary: £67,998.00 per annum

Permanent – 35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for an IT Enterprise Architect (Platforms and Technology) on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Liverpool.

Our client is one the UK’s leading social housing and regeneration organisations.
A group of not-for-profit and commercial companies with a charitable Housing Association at their core, they are fully committed to improving the lives of thousands of individuals and families with the overall aim of transforming lives and revitalising neighbourhoods.

They have an exciting opportunity for an IT Enterprise Architect (Platforms and Technology) based in Liverpool Speke on a full-time, permanent basis. They are looking to engage a suitably experienced individual with certification in an Enterprise Architecture method/framework and proven track record of successfully working at a strategic level as well as defining IT solutions for significant projects.

This is an excellent opportunity likely to suit an experienced Enterprise Architect with a technology bias, who can work in both a Strategic and "hands-on" capacity, defining roadmaps, as well as solutions.

You will work within the Architecture function to own and shape the high-level target IT architectures and future IT technology roadmaps across the Group.

Excellent experience with cost-effective Cloud and On Premise Middleware (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS) and a range of technology platforms (EDRMS, VDI, SOA/ESB) is expected but the successful applicant will need to be genuinely "T-Shaped" – specialising in Technology but demonstrating a breadth of experience to include applications and data management, to allow them to act as the end-to-end Lead Architect where the need or complexity demands.

You will be the resident expert when it comes to research, identifying, analysing and make decisions regarding high-level IT solutions relevant to the assigned domain, ensuring cost-effectiveness, flexibility, quality, operability and re-usability, whilst also influencing the IT strategy to underpin the Group’s overall strategic objectives.

You will also be required to have experience of acting in a governance role, ideally as part of an Architecture Review Board or similar, overseeing complex portfolios of change.

This is a perfect opportunity to have influence over the architecture of one the UK’s leading social housing and regeneration organisations.

You will receive excellent pension scheme and great benefits plus your salary will increase by 10% after your first 12 months in accordance with Salary Review Guidelines and your performance.

Closing Date: 22nd January 2018
