Humberside Engineering Training Association HETA is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough and Scunthorpe.

HETA provide engineering apprentices and adult skills training for hundreds of companies in Yorkshire and Humberside.

HETA has a vacancy for the following post: Electrical Assessor Competitive salary + benefits HETA are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to visit our apprentices within their workplace to assess NVQ Level 3 engineering manufacturing and maintenance portfolios.

It is important that all applicants have a clear commitment to the development of young people. This position may also involve delivering technical content of the Apprenticeship standard to apprentices at all 3 HETA centres and some adult training work.

The successful applicant will have good technical skills, good interpersonal skills, and more than five years relevant experience. Relevant trade qualifications are essential, up to HNC/degree level qualifications desirable.

Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills. The role will be based in Hull and involve visiting companies across the Yorkshire region with occasional travel to North & North East Lincolnshire.

A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential. In return we offer a competitive salary for the skills sector, company pension scheme, private health care, performance related pay and 30 days leave per year (pro-rata).
