This is a great opportunity for a dedicated IT Professional with an interest in the Education sector, to support the IT function at this Grammar & Sixth Form Multi-Academy Trust.

We are looking to recruit a hands on Assistant IT Technician, someone who already has gained some experience within a busy IT environment. This is a demanding role within a fast paced environment that calls for high levels of customer service and attention to detail.

The Purpose of the role is to:

+ Assist in the support, management and development of the IT infrastructure within the MFG Academy
+ Contribute to the Continual Service Improvement of IT Services+ Provide day-to-day maintenance support in the use of computer facilities within the MFG Academy to support staff, students and the curriculum.

Key Areas:

+ Support Administration and Service Improvement
+ Server Administration
+ Network Installation, Management and Maintenance
+ End Point Installation, Management and Maintenance
+ Health and Safety
+ Miscellaneous tasks

Your past experience on your CV will show that you have been involved in all of the above areas and this role may well be the next step in your career. 

This position will be based at The Colne Valley High School but you will be required to travel to our other Academy sites in Mirfield and Huddersfield and therefore you must hold a full driving licence.

Our IT function is building a strong and positive reputation within all Academy sites and you will support that by providing the very best levels of service to all users and stakeholders. You must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
