Position: Project Manager - New Plant Development and Improvement
Location: Bradford
Salary: £44,000 - £55,000 per annum basic plus a target bonus of £7911.

Reporting to the Operations Excellence Manager you will be responsible for:
You will ensure successful commissioning of new plant and operational readiness in terms of resourcing, operating procedures, training, maintenance strategies and developing commissioning plans.
The role will require you to carry out the initial scoping and appraisal of options available, right through to developing the business case and presentation of the proposal for final approval.
You will provide leadership and support to the on-site multi-disciplinary teams which includes operations, engineering and maintenance, warehouse and logistics.
Working in close collaboration with the Engineering Project Manager through the design and construction phases, you will ensure that project objectives are delivered on-time and within budget.
You will foster a culture that is focused on teamwork and collective ownership for delivery of the project success criteria.
Where problems arise, you will identify those problems with the project and take the lead on developing solutions and ensuring these solutions are implemented.
You will oversee the control of project expenditure within the agreed budget.
You will develop and maintain plans, take control of the risk register and provide timely project reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
Safety is of the highest priority and you will ensure that Safety, Health & Environmental protection are given the highest priority throughout the project cycle.
You will work closely with the Process Safety team to ensure process safety concept is incorporated into the overall project specification.
You will have:
Experience of managing a diverse team either in a line management or project management capacity.
A degree in an engineering discipline or science, or equivalent experience in an operating management role at a COMAH site.
Have demonstrable experience of delivering major capital expenditure projects either from an operational management or project management standpoint.
A thorough understanding of change management with experience of managing change within a fast paced and dynamic organisation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with an ability to work with others to proactively solve problems and develop sustainable Solutions.
