An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award winning and innovative housing association and our tenant focused Asset Team.  We are looking for a self-motivated and innovative individual, to act as a central point for the procurement and management of our planned and cyclical maintenance contracts.

The Procurement and Legal Compliance Surveyor role will be responsible for ensuring that we are legally compliant with all aspects of our maintenance monitoring, administration, certification and contractor’s Health & Safety compliance requirements.  The role will support the surveyors in monitoring contractor performance with a commitment to providing a high standard of workmanship, administration and service delivery.  

A relevant HNC/HND or equivalent in a construction related subject is essential for this role, along with experience of procurement of building works, project management and contract administration.

The Procurement and Legal Compliance Surveyor position is a busy, varied and challenging role and you must be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge coupled with effective planning and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and to work on your initiative. You will be an effective communicator and team player with good IT skills.

You will need a driving licence and have the use of a car every working day. The post is subject to a Basic Disclosure and is subject to a renewal disclosure check every three years.
