Reporting to the Chief Inspector the successful candidate will join a team of 12 Inspectors responsible for maintaining the quality standards expected within the business.You will be responsible for ensuring high product quality of precision manufactured components.
Duties will range from 3D off-line CMM programming, CNC, CMM operation and SPC analysis, as well as conventional measuring techniques.
You will be quick to learn modern measuring techniques and have experience within a similar customer focused, engineering environment.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines. You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate your ability to investigate and solve problems as they arise.
You will ideally educated to HNC/HND or equivalent and be an experienced inspector/quality engineer and highly computer literate. You will ideally have knowledge of CMM programming and MCOSMOS CMM software.
You will need to have knowledge of modern manufacturing measuring equipment and techniques, preferably with experience of quality improvement techniques.
The team operates shift patterns, typically Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm / 4pm - 2am rotating shifts
