Primary Intervention Teacher required for an 'Outstanding Primary School' in South Bristol

Start Date: Wed 3rd Jan 2018- Fri 25th May 2018

Class: Intervention Primary Teacher to work with small group of pupils from Reception- Year 3

Person Spec and Job description:

Monarch Education are working in partnership with a Primary School in South Bristol who are looking to for an experienced Primary Teacher to deliver interventions to small groups of pupils across Reception- year 3.

The successful teacher will work in collaboration with the class teacher of the pupils who require additional support to raise their attainments. The candidate will need to have ensure that activities challenge all groups of pupils, particularly the most able pupils and those who need help closing the gap. The successful candidate will need to provide pupils with further opportunities to develop their reading and writing and mathematical skills with a good track record of bridging attainment gaps and boosting pupil's confidence.

The successful teacher will be organised and good at keeping files/paperwork. You will work with pupils on a one to one and small group basis outside of the classroom. This is an ideal role for any teacher looking to step away from full class teaching who has experience with working in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and some experience in Key Stage 2 (Year 3).

The School is a large Church of England Primary School located in South Bristol.They are able to provide; caring and nurturing environment with friendly pupils and a welcoming environment.
