Regional Operations Manager – Loo Hire, Salary: Up to c£45k + STIP, Car & Benefits, Based: Rainham, Essex
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to work for an industry leading business within their Loo hire division. The ideal candidate will have multi-site / regional operations management experience from within a Transport / Logistics, Construction Hire or similar industrial background. You will have experience of implementing lean principles and change management and have worked in a role with P&L responsibilities. The depot operation stores and prepares the units ready for hire or sale, refurbishing and modifying as required and ensuring and efficient delivery and collection service.

The Regional Operations Manager will be required to manage, lead, mentor and motivate Depot Managers across multiple sites in the South of the UK to deliver depot Operational Performance and Cost Control in line with Regional KPI targets and through successful implementation of Lean Principles. Responsible for ensuring the quality and service expectation of products is maintained and delivered within timescales. You will ensure Key Account and National Account Service Level Agreements and other performance standards are achieved and exceeded.

Candidate Requirements;

• Experience of operating at a senior level within a relevant industry.
• Experience in managing multi-site management teams.
• Experience of Logistics / Transport operations.
• P&L experience
• Ideally Industry specific knowledge and significant depth of expertise.
• Experience of driving operational efficiency and controlling costs to deliver budgetary targets for region.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of Lean fundamentals.
• Demonstrable experience of managing Health and Safety (IOSH) across multiple locations.
• Experience of delivering results against operational, service, quality, safety and cost targets.
