My client, a large transport company with a sizable depot in the Tamworth area is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Mechanic on a full time basis.
Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a HGV Mechanic and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
The successful HGV Mechanic will have to be able to cope with the day to day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings and be able to make decisions when faced with breakdowns or vehicle accidents.
Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required and holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided to the successful HGV Mechanic.
The hours of work for the this HGV Mechanic role are 10pm to 6.30am Monday to Friday.
Earning Potential for this HGV Mechanic role is GBP16.25 per hour + overtime is available at an increased rate.
