Students Union University of Nottingham has an exciting opportunity for a Market Researcher to join the team based in Nottingham. You will be on a full time permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary of £21,000 - £23,000 per annum dependant on experience.
As our Market Researcher you’ll be working alongside student facing departments to not only better understand what students want, but also support colleagues to respond to your research findings.
What we’re looking for in our Market Researcher
You will have experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, with a good understanding of how best to design research projects that fully unearth what is on the minds of our students and why. You will be someone with strong listening and interpretation skills, as well as having a natural ability to share research findings in an engaging, inspiring way with a range of stakeholders that will instigate positive change.
Your degree level qualification, or equivalent experience, has helped you to understand consumer behaviour. You’re therefore confident in identifying what makes students tick – not only from a participation, engagement and marketing perspective, but also in terms of employment. You’ll be responsible for up to 30 ‘Brand and Insight Ambassadors’, and therefore you’ll be comfortable upskilling these students in research techniques and guiding their output.
We are looking for a contentious team player whose people skills will bring enthusiasm and determination to our existing fun and friendly team. Does this sound like you?
