Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is a patient-centred charity based in Surrey committed to providing the best in specialist palliative care. We provide free of charge holistic care and support services for patients, their families and carers. In May this year we opened our brand new Hospice in Goldsworth Park and we are now recruiting a Senior Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team within the hospice.
Your duties will be to provide a comprehensive housekeeping service for patients, visitors and staff in a professional and economical way. You will work closely with the inpatient ward and front of house manager to ensure a high quality housekeeping service is provided that meets national and local standards. A flexible approach to working is required to ensure appropriate staff coverage of housekeeping duties across all areas of the hospice. Two years previous housekeeping experience ideally in a healthcare environment is required.
