Sub-Contract Inspectors

Lloyd’s Register (LR) is a global engineering, technical and business services organisation wholly owned by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, a UK charity dedicated to research and education in science and engineering. Founded in 1760 as a marine classification society, LR now operates across many industry sectors, with over 9,000 employees based in 78 countries.

We currently have the following opportunities:-

Sub-Contract Inspectors (two opportunities) required to work at a client's site in the Nottingham area of the UK.

The candidates will cover the client's day/afternoon shift working as required.

The successful candidates will be expected to have:-

• An engineering/inspection background.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specification requirements where applicable.
• Experience of hydrostatic pressure testing, mechanical testing and dimensional measurement would be an advantage.

There is potential for the successful candidates to undertake training and assume greater responsibility.
