Job Title: Sales Administrator

This well-established manufacturer in Surrey are renowned experts in machining, bonding and finishing engineering grade plastics. They supply global, blue-chip customers in industries including life sciences, medical devices and industrial applications with solutions including fluidic manifolds and optical components. Part of a small, friendly sales team, this role is a key interface between the clients and the sales and production teams.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for liaising with both clients and internal personal to ensure client's Requests For Quotation (RFQs), orders and general enquires are processed and responded to in a timely manner. Duties will include loading orders and RFQs into the planning system, issuing quotations, advising on delivery timing, following up on quotations, issuing order acknowledgements and dealing with general client enquires. You will also support general marketing activity and administration in line with the ISO9001 quality management system.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 2 years + experience in an administration role
- Dealing professionally with clients on the phone and face to face
- Accuracy with numbers
- General IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Nice to have:
- Working in an ISO9001 based management system
- Sales environment experience
