Our client has been in business in Nuneaton for over 30 years and is highly thought of by its employees and clients. Due to continued success and as part of their growth plans, they are now looking for an enthusiastic Stores person to join their team.
KEY TASKS:
As part of the role, you will manage both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the stores inventory levels and NAV records. You will also ensure purchase orders are progressed in a timely manner to ensure continuous stock levels to facilitate production requirements.
Day to day tasks would involve:
-Receiving goods from suppliers, visual inspection and recording delivery data onto Microsoft Navision ERP system
-Putting received goods into the Stores
-Picking parts from Stores ready for assembly
-Picking and packing parts and booking couriers
-Progressing purchase orders with suppliers
-Housekeeping of Stores
Skills and attributes required:
To be considered for the role, you will ideally have: -
-Previously worked in a Stores environment, preferably Engineering based
-Previous experience of Microsoft Navision or similar ERP software
-A Fork lift licence would be a distinct advantage, though not essential as training may be given for the right candidate
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-An ability to work alone on individual tasks or within a small team
THE PACKAGE:
Working in excellent surroundings and atmosphere, the Salary will be circa GBP18,000 to GBP20,000 per annum depending on experience.
The hours of work are 8.30am - 4.45pm (Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week)
Our client provides a workplace pension and operates flexible working practices. You will have 32 days paid holiday per year (including bank and public holidays).
