Warehouse Order Picker - Bermuda Park
Immediate starts available as a Warehouse Order Picker.
BENEFITS: Canteen and On-site parking are available at the warehouse, Pension scheme, Upskilling Training, Full Equipment/Uniform provided, Peak incentives.
SHIFT PATTERN:
3pm - 11pm - GBP8.45 / OT # GBP12.67 5 days between Monday and Sunday.
Overtime paid after 40 hours
60 Min's worth of paid breaks per shift, meaning you only work for 6.5 hrs per day in the warehouse.
This is an opportunity for a long-term ongoing role as a warehouse order picker. We regularly upskill and train people including powered hand trucks, LLOP and PPT.
During the peak period between Nov - Jan you will be required to work 5 from 7 shift, but weekends will be rota'd fairly and likely to be 1 in 3 and only a Sat or Sun and not both, unless this is your preference.
Peak incentives available between Nov - 1st week of Jan such as; Up to GBP200 bonus for achieving acceptable levels of attendance and performance
JOB DESCRIPTION
Working in a cold store warehouse in temperatures down to -20??? however full PPE is provided.
Main Duties are but not limited to:
* Picking orders within set time frame ensuring all picking standard have met.
* Using Voice Pick and cages to complete orders before transporting to loading.
* Using manual handling best practices to lift up to 10 kilos as part of the picking process. Products are grocery products.
* Be flexible and committed to providing excellence in all aspects, with a keen eye for detail.Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach when planning and be able to react positively to day to day challenges.
