Four Star, small but busy hotel, operating under a worldwide brand is looking for a Conference & Events Sales Executive to join their Sales team

The Conference & Events Sales Executive will be responsible for undertaking the sales and events bookings and administration for our busy Events space.

We're looking for someone who can maintain a positive and calm outlook, can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, carry out instructions, be able to pay close attention to detail and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. Experience within a customer facing sales role and a good knowledge and skill set for the position is essential. Full training is provided including multi-skilling across the hotel

Key Responsibilities
* Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
* Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
* Manage an events schedule to maximise yield
* Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
* Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
* Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
* Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
* Participate in hotel promotional activities

Person Specification
* Strong customer awareness and focus.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with customers.
* Well-groomed and presentable with excellent written and spoken English
* Ability to work and interact well as part of a team.
* High level of IT proficiency
* Experience within a hotel of 4* and above or recent graduate (or equivalent) of an events qualification.
* Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference & Events function
