Senior HR Advisor
Start: As soon as possible
Salary: £33,437 - £36,379 Full time equivalent (37 hours pw)
Contract: Part time, minimum of 23 hours per week / Full time (37 hours) considered
Term: Permanent, all year round / term time only considered
Location: Keynsham or Oldland (between Bristol&Bath) with regular travel to other WMAT schools

Wellsway Multi Academy Trust is at an exciting stage in its development. We currently run ten schools and with more joining shortly, the Trust is moving towards its vision of being a truly inclusive provider of 4 - 19 education in East Bristol and Bath.
This new role provides an opportunity to join the HR team at a pivotal time and has scope to develop as the organisation grows. Reporting to the Head of HR you will deliver a professional business-focused HR operational service to meet customer schools needs and WMAT objectives, as well as contributing to wider MAT initiatives, including policy development and delivery of key projects.
You will provide support to the leadership teams of current WMAT schools as they go through periods of change, and to new schools entering the trust.
The HR function here is small but growing, and seen as an enabling service. You will be given the tools to support your schools effectively, plus gain access to leading professional development opportunities. You will also be able to contribute to the trust wider HR strategy as this develops.
Sound good? To be considered for this role, we will be looking for:
- Experience of complex case work;
- Experience managing organisational TUPE and culture change;
- Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset;
- The ability to work autonomously and away from the main HR team
- CIPD Level 5 qualification essential/Level 7 desirable
- Expert knowledge of education/HR legislation desirable
