The Company is the world leader in the development, manufacture & sale of analytical instruments for absolute macromolecular characterization. Their light scattering instruments are used by chemical, environmental, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies as well as government, academic institutes.

Position Summary

The Company seeks to add a key member to its Customer Support team in the UK. You will be interacting daily with company offices and customers, via email, phone or in person performing installations, training, and IQOQ's; reviewing installation requirements; coordinating delivery of instruments to customer site and when time allows making visits to regional customers to make sure they are completely satisfied with their company instruments. Up to 75% of your time could be spent on-site, with significant travel all around the UK and Ireland.

Requirements and Qualifications

They're looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and an excellent familiarity with basic lab techniques, instrumentation and software. HPLC and Wyatt light scattering experience would be ideal with prior field support experience preferred. In the UK they are a small team so a flexible attitude and a willingness to always help their clients and developing individual relationships are expected.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or other related field. Excellent organization, motivation, attention to detail, and communication skills are a must.
