We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Works Operative to join our Coventry team. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the successful candidate will have specific responsibility for goods inwards and the dispatch of chemicals. The role requires flexibility to assist with packing, labelling, picking and other duties as required. 

We are a dynamic and busy operational site at the heart of the companies UK distribution network so this exciting opportunity would suit someone who enjoys a fast-pace, varied workload and is happy working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard area in all weathers!

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ To ensure that MHE is properly presented and operated
+ To ensure that the correct goods are received, stored and dispatched in good condition.
+ To ensure the correct completion of documentation
+ Be compliant to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
+ To ensure the correct receipt and dispatch of goods
+ To ensure the correct picking of customer orders
+ To inspect returned Stock for external appearance, date of manufacture and evidence of internal contamination – in accordance with company procedures
+ Cooperate on all matters concerned with health, safety, training, legislation and the environment.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work without supervision when required. It is essential that the successful candidate also holds an FLT licence for Counter Balance and Reach.
