37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexibility to work out of hours required)
£25,538.06 - £28,090.76 per annum, depending upon qualifications and experience

We are a dynamic organisation providing innovative and effective solutions for those with complex needs. We are a registered Housing Association providing accommodation, outreach support and a wide range of other support services. Supporting customers with mental ill health, learning disabilities, addictions and those who have been sexually exploited or have been within the criminal justice system to live more fulfilled lives.
We are looking to appoint a Health, Safety and Welfare Manager who will have corporate responsibility for leading on all health, safety and welfare issues to ensure that health and safety policies, procedures and practices reflect current legislation and best practice.
You must have a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice or equivalent qualification and be affiliated to a nationally recognised health and safety organisation or institute. You must have at least two years’ experience of working in a similar role.
You will lead on developing a workplace environment that increases the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of our employees. You will ensure that Brighter Futures’ properties, premises and working practices are safe and ensure that inspections and testing are carried out promptly to agreed standards
You must be computer literate in using Microsoft word, excel, email and the internet. You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
