Telesales Executive / Telemarketing Executive / Sales / Outbound Telesales / B2B / IT Solutions

Telesales Executive with at least 2 years' B2B outbound telesales experience is needed for our client, a well-established cloud-based software company based in Manchester.

They make powerful and exciting cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) software, and are dedicated and passionate about helping businesses increase profitability and improve customer experience. They do this by making innovative and powerful software that allows eCommerce and product professionals to get on with the most valuable parts of their jobs.

They are looking for a passionate and professional telemarketing executive to join their business development team, during an exciting stage of growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating web demos or face-to-face meetings via telesales
  • Profiling the organisation contacted in order to assess their suitability
  • Ensuring the contact booked to attend the meeting is of sufficient seniority to play a key part in the decision making process
  • Providing accurate information to their sales team to assist in the follow up of the appointment
  • Nurturing longer term opportunities to follow up at a later date
  • Maintaining and updating the marketing database on an on-going basis

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years B2B outbound telesales / telemarketing experience, ideally within IT solutions
  • Strong track record of achieving targets within a telemarketing environment
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to engage in a professional and confident manner at Director level
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Problem solver
  • Highly motivated and passionate about sales
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confident and professional telephone manner


  • Previous experience of using a CRM application
  • Have a sound appreciation of customer needs and evidence of placing customer satisfaction as the highest priority
  • Target driven, a high achiever and have the ability to work on your own initiative with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to learn quickly and keep up with changes in technology
