LOCATION: North Thoresby, between Louth and Grimsby
JOB TITLE: Practice Nurse
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive
WORKING HOURS: 25 - 30 hours per week
THE COMPANY: Our client is a long established, rural NHS GP Practice based over 2 sites. Based in North Thoresby between Louth and Grimsby, this busy practice is looking to recruit a Practice Nurse to join their existing team.
THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join an enthusiastic and friendly team. We are looking for someone who will provide nursing care to Practice patients. We are specifically looking for a Practice Nurse with asthma and COPD experience and qualifications, although training can be provided on this.
The role will be based across 2 sites and offer variety in a great working environment.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful Practice Nurse will be responsible for people with a range of needs so being highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise effectively is vital. On a daily basis you will need to use a broad range of skills, including listening and communication, problem solving, good judgement and offering advice. The Practice Nurse will need to demonstrate critical thinking, decision making and be able to manage patients.
A qualified Nurse with Asthma and COPD qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential as this could also be a great opportunity for a qualified Nurse to expand their knowledge and qualifications with additional training available for the right candidate.
Key experience essential for the role:
• Registered Nurse with a valid PIN
• Will live within a commutable distance of North Thoresby (between Louth and Grimsby)
• Experience with asthma and COPD is desirable but not essential.
• Must have a driving licence to be able to travel between sites
