Welding Supervisor - Shift Based
Dorking, Surrey
GBP36'200 + Bonus + Pension + Training + 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
Excellent opportunity to join an expanding company at their brand new site, where you will play a crucial part in their future business objectives.
Are you a MIG/TIG welder with experience of managing a team and overseeing the quality of work?
Established over 75 years ago this company designs, manufactures and supplies specialist vehicles to customers all over the world. Having spent millions on all areas of the company they are now seeking a shift supervisor to join their growing team.
You will be responsible for a team of team leaders, operators and welders and will ensure workshop schedules and production targets are met. You will need to liaise directly with the production manager to communicate any problems and ensure the correct levels of procedures, safety and general conduct are maintained.
The ideal person will be a skillful welder/fabricator who has supervisory experience and is looking to join a company where you enhance your skills through the chance of ongoing training.
The Role:
*Shift supervisor
*Responsible for operators and welders
*Reading Drawings
*Working in-line with health and safety standards
*Monday-Friday 5:45am-1.45pm and 2.15pm-10.15pm rotating shift (2 weeks)
The Person:
*Welder (MIG/TIG)
*Must have supervisory experience
*The ability to read engineering drawings
*Experience of working with mild and stainless steel
*Self-motivated, loyal and an enthusiastic person able to fit in well with a team
