Our Catering business is growing and we are recruiting for a full-time Stores Supervisor to maintain an efficient stock management system and storeroom, manage both inward and outward stock movement, and order the best products at the best prices.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, which could include occasional Saturday working
Salary: £19,426 - £20,608 per annum, depending on experience
Based: Cambridge

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Stores Supervisor will develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers ensuring the College's reputation and values are portrayed and continually strive to support the Catering team to develop our menus and deliver high standards. There is also an opportunity for the successful candidate to expand the role (in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Head Chef) with reviews of the opportunities for centralised stock control for the College in areas such as stationery, chemicals and photocopy paper, together with the current arrangements for wine deliveries and wine stock control system for the Conference Wine Store and Fellow's Wine Cellar.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive knowledge of stock control management, preferably working in a warehouse or similar environment, good IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work on your own initiative without direct supervision and a good communicator, with the ability to work in co-operation and harmony with colleagues to achieve efficient service levels.
