HOUSING ADVISOR
Salary: £28,485 - £32,486 per annum
Hours: 37 per week
Contracts: Permanent

Focused on preventing and relieving homelessness, you will provide a comprehensive and detailed housing options and advice service to members of the public. We’ll look to you to undertake enquiries and investigations to determine our statutory duties under homelessness legislation. And just as importantly, you’ll display a sound appreciation of good customer service in a housing context.
With excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for partnership working, you will have the ability to gather information and interpret complex issues, to think creatively about problems and identify appropriate solutions. This means you will need some knowledge of homelessness and landlord and tenant legislation, as well as current guidance on choice-based letting schemes.
