Accounts Supervisor

This is an opportunity to join a forward thinking fleet management and contract hire company with facilities throughout the UK. They provide a range of services to both blue chip and SME fleet operators and Insurance companies including contract hire, flexi hire, accident management and repair and maintenance services.

As part of their continued growth they are now looking to appoint an Accounts Supervisor to be based at their Stevenage Office.

Summary:

They are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join their team. The role involves the following activities:

- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (bank, fixed assets, supplier statements etc.)
- Posting of invoices and bank transactions onto Sage
- Importing data from other databases and programmes into Sage
- Processing of purchase order and invoices
- Month end tasks to include; raising consolidated invoices, importing invoices from ProHire to Sage, reconciling vehicle numbers.

The ideal candidate will be IT literate and have excellent organisation skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and will have solid office experience in an accounting role. A good working knowledge of Sage (50 and 200) and Excel is preferred, although all applications will be considered on merit. Strong typing and numerical skills with attention to detail is essential for this role.
