Key responsibilities:
Our highly successful real estate litigation team advises on all property related disputes and portfolio management issues. Lawyers work on major matters for large organisations as well as everyday matters for individuals.
The role involves working on a broad range of property related problems for a range of clients including occupiers, investors, developers, financial institutions and government agencies. Upon joining, you will be involved in all aspects of property disputes and contentious property issues along with property management issues including lease renewals and landlord and tenant disputes. You will be working within a team, reporting to several supervisors.
Skills and experience:
The candidate will be a graduate, ideally with an LPC, or ILEX with at least 1-2 years' work experience in a legal environment. Property or Litigation experience would be an advantage, however, we are open to all candidates who can demonstrate necessary skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills as well as high attention to detail. You will provide a first rate client service both internally and externally. We will consider applications from exceptional candidates with strong non contentious property experience and a commitment to developing a contentious career.
Key competencies:
You should be a proven team player, client focused and a good communicator with a strong practical approach to your workload and good attention to detail . A commitment of delivering quality service is essential, as is the ability to juggle the demands of a heavy workload. Real estate litigation experience is preferred but candidates with strong property experience and a willingness to develop will also be considered They will require excellent IT, administration and organisational skills, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
