The Training Delivery Group Head vacancy requires a confident and proactive individual who can demonstrate strong leadership skills, show ability to build effective relationships and can communicate at all levels of the organisation.

Nature and Scope

This role is for a Training Delivery Group Head to work in the Performance Improvement Department at Hunterston. The successful candidate must be looking for a role in which they can influence the performance of Hunterston Power Station through training delivery.

Principal Accountabilities

The key duties the successful candidate will be required to carry out are as follows;

The rigorous application of a systematic approach to training (SAT) to drive excellent initial and continuing qualification of personnel. SAT will also be deployed to drive training for performance improvement to support the business.

Oversee, coordinate and develop the resource of their team (11 Instructors and 1 Engineer) to ensure that stakeholder demand is met.

Ensure that the facilities under the control of the department are maintained and enhanced such that they provide an excellent environment for learning

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

As a minimum requirement the candidate will be educated to HNC level. Candidates with a relevant degree may have an advantage. Technical knowledge specific to the nuclear generation industry is desired.
