Apprentice Engineer

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Apprentice Engineer for our team in Beddington, working 37.5 hours a week.

The ideal Apprentice Engineer:

• Five GSCE’s including Maths and Science at Grade B and two further at Grade C or above
• A practical aptitude for engineering or technology
• Interest in power industry and in mechanical/electrical/physical equipment and networks.

Apprentice Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the ERF plant
• Carry out fault diagnosis rectify as required
• Management of records and implementation of maintenance requirements
• Aware and where possible fully conversant with drawings and P&ID’s as required
• Be pro-active and creative in problem solving and initiative.
• Ensure that all reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System is effective and followed through to completion promptly.
• Broaden experience by covering the Mechanical Engineers duties if required.
