WOMEN’S AID INTEGRATED SERVICES (WAIS)

Providing support to women and their children experiencing or escaping
abuse throughout Nottingham and region.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Refuge Support Worker to join our dynamic team in an organisation which is at the forefront of domestic violence support. The appointed person will have a good understanding of the issues faced by hard to engage groups.

Serenity Children’s Refuge Support Worker – Dispersed Accommodation
(18.5 hours per week)

Fixed Term Contract to March 2018

NJC Scale point 25 - £22,434 pro rata

The Children’s Support Worker is responsible for the support of children within the dispersed refuge accommodation.

The support worker will be expected to take all reasonable steps to ensure that the work with the children meets their individual needs as appropriate with regard to families’ cultural, religious backgrounds, any special needs and to actively combat stereotypes.

Closing date for applications is 7th November 2017.

Interviews will be held on Monday 20th November 2017 (subject to change)
