8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday with 1 hour for lunch

Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Personal Injury/Litigation Legal Secretary to join our Sutton in Ashfield office. 

You will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and enjoy working in a challenging, busy and professional environment.

You will be supporting one of our fee earners, producing documents relating to a wide range of Personal Injury/Litigation work. You will also be managing the fee earner's diary and dealing with client enquiries.

Your duties will include:

  • Audio typing & word processing through Digital Dictation
  • Diary management
  • Administrative duties
  • Filing
  • Photocopying
  • Assisting other members of the department as required
  • Presentation of correspondence and documents
  • Liaising with Clients, Experts and  Barristers

As an experienced legal secretary, you will have worked within a Personal Injury/Litigation department previously, and will have the ability to provide high quality support in this area. You will be organised and have exceptional audio typing skills, excellent Microsoft skills (Word, Excel and Outlook). You will also have file management skills with an attention to detail and be a confident communicator with excellent client care skills.

The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience of assisting a PI/Litigation fee earner or team and a good understanding of the full Personal Injury/Litigation processes.
