Spray Painter - East Kilbride / Glasgow - £10 per hour
Spray painter for world leading surface coatings and finishings company in East Kilbride
The Role
As Spray Painter, you will ensure that all workmanship is completed to a high standard of quality / completed in a timely manner in line with customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will be:
- understanding customer requirements from marked up drawings
- maintaining ISO9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 procedures
- working to a high standard and quality to meet production schedules
The Company
Our client is a world leader in surface coatings, anti-corrosion solutions and finishings and provides specialist surface coatings to a variety of industry sectors including Automotive, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Engineering, Construction, Medical etc. They have a comprehensive management system in place to meet all the requirements of ISO9001 and TS16949 accreditation for the automotive industry.
The Person
As Spray Painter, you will have some experience with paint application to standard components, preferably in the oil and gas sector (e. ICATS accreditation or similar) and be able to follow instructions and marked up drawings. You will:
- be organised, professional, with excellent attention to detail
- have excellent hand to eye co-ordination
- be flexible in terms of working shift patterns
- have a safety conscious approach / awareness of Health and Safety
