Our client is a charity dedicated to supporting people with a learning disability lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected. They provide a range of services in Coventry and Oxfordshire which help people with a learning disability to live their life to the full.

Position: Support Workers
Location: Witney (commutable from Oxford, Eynsham, Carterton, Kidlington, Faringdon, Abingdon and surrounding areas) & Banbury (commutable from Brackley, Deddington, Kidlington, Chipping Norton, Bicester and surrounding areas)
Contract type: Full Time
Hours: Full Time, Part Time hours, Days, Evenings, Weekends & Sleep In's available.
Salary: GBP8.10 per hour (salary matches available with the LPT pay scale)

About the Role:

The Support Worker is an Integral part of a team, suporting and enabling people with learning disabilities to live their lives in their own homes maintaining independence and enabling people to become active members of the community. You will be assisting people with daily living tasks for example work placements, activites, cooking, cleaning and personal care supporting people to maintain and develop new skills.

A sense of humour and commitment will go a long way in the role along with honesty, reliability and flexibility, but if you can bring fun and encouragement to the team to encourage people to grow and develop, then we want to hear from you!

No experience is required, all they ask is that you are flexible and want to support people to be part of the community. Training is offered included accredited training and your efforts are rewarded through your own development, satisfaction and a progressive pay scale.
