This is a pivotal role within our marketing team and you will be required to integrate deeply within the department as well as the entire David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation team. The role will be intensely focused on creating new content in relation to graphic design, online marketing, SEO, social media and video production, assuring all tasks are executed correctly. Your wide range of duties and responsibilities in this diverse, stimulating and challenging role will include:- *Assisting in the production of communication materials across all David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation platforms and channels * The day to day content management of both the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation main website and an e-commerce website *Providing written, design and social media support for all communication activities * Liaising with the Head of Communications and working closely with the Fundraising team to plan, co-ordinate, commission, edit and deliver stimulating content across the charity's social media channels to drive interest and engage with followers. * Help identify, write, schedule and deliver regular e-comms/e-marketing content *Identify and develop new marketing opportunities in social media and campaigning in support of the communication and fundraising activities across the Foundation * Identify and develop PR opportunities * Produce, manage and edit written and graphic content for the e-commerce website * Day to day ownership of marketing products on site; including product titles, descriptions, images, category hierarchy and onsite SEO * Deliver and maintain a smooth and efficient on-line customer experience * Use Google Analytics, SEO techniques and other feedback tools to monitor and analyse on-line activity, adjusting communications to optimise impact and response General * Carry out all duties and responsibilities in line with DSWF corporate policy, brand guidelines, charity legislation, employment legislation and other best practice guidelines * Be aware at all times of working to budgets and to analyse the cost effectiveness of activities * Contribute to organisational effectiveness through effective team work * Work in ways that demonstrate accountability, openness and transparency * Carry out all reasonable requests of the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team * Assist at Foundation events as reasonably required You An enthusiastic, creative, imaginative and passionate Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Executive, you will probably have a degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Graphic Design, Visual Communication or other graphic design related qualification), and ideally, proven experience working in graphic design, digital marketing and social media environments. The key qualities you have to offer will be:- A passion for Digital Marketing and the desire to continually learn and improve The ability to grasp the content and be creative Willing to learn and to search content on its' own Good attention to detail A high level of drive and self-motivation Adaptable and fast learner Have excellent communication skills, good written English Knowledge of/interest in wildlife and conservation issues
