Dance and Gymastics Teacher - Bilton Grange Holiday Camp, Rugby Dates (Week commencing): 24th July Pay: GBP79 - (08:00-15:00) Background Oxford Active runs Multi-activity Holiday Camps during school holidays at a number of private school settings in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Warwickshire, Hertfordshire and Gloucestershire for children aged 4 - 14 years. Active Plus is a new facility we have introduced at our camps, giving children the chance to develop and learn new specialist skills, such as football, swimming, gymnastics and dance. We need new Dance/Gym Teachers to join our team to run structured dance sessions for small groups of children attending our camps. So, if you have a passion for teaching gymnastics and dance, enjoy engaging with children and set yourself the highest standards, then we would love to hear from you. Job Duties To run dance/gymnastics lessons for groups of children aged between 4 and 14 years old who are attending our holiday camp To plan and prepare structured dance/gymnastics lessons according to the age range and size of the groups you are teaching Ensure the children in your care learn new skills and have fun in a safe and stimulating environment Follow Oxford Active's policies and procedures to keep children safe, including but not be limited to behaviour management, safeguarding, risk assessments and other health and safety policies Administer first aid as appropriate Take care of all Oxford Active play and sports equipment, ensure it is in good condition, safe to use and kept safely. Person Specification Must have a minimum of an NGB Level 2 in Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Street dance or an equivalent dance qualification Must have experience or working with children in a teaching environment Needs to be able communicate at all levels, particularly with children Ability to work as part of a team, as well as use your own initiative Willingness to undertake appropriate training is desirable All our staff have to pass strict safeguarding checks, including an enchanced DBS disclosure
