My client is a long established, Rochester based distributor of Fluid Power, Process equipment and general engineering components, who supply to local blue chip end users and small to medium sized OEM's.
Due to growth, they now require additional staff in their modern sales office, and require a Trainee Internal Sales Office Administrator to complement their existing team in handling day to day customer orders and enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling incoming enquiries, identifying the required solution and reponding back to the caller to meet their needs and requirements.
Soucing non-standard products, and liasing with suppliers.
Agreeing special prices with suppliers.
Generating and following up, quotations and proposals.
Managing C.R.M. data, and keeping records updated.
Supporting other team members as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
Is technically competent, ideally in industrial sales, although this is not essential.
Has the ability to effectively engage with customers and prospects and respond as required.
Posesses strong customer service and telephone relationship skills.
Has strong I.T. system skills.
Can work unsupervised or as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
Lives in the Rochester area, or close by, in the easy to reach commuter area
